Farm Safety Camp for Kids 2026

Farm Safety Camp for Kids is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1 at Jonamac Orchard in rural Malta starting at 9 a.m. The camp is open to children ages 8 to 12 years. The registration fee of $10 can be paid online or in person and includes a t-shirt, lunch, and safety materials.
Qualified local experts will discuss important messages at each of the 12 safety stations positioned outdoors around the orchard.
Stations include: fire safety, farm machinery, grain bins and wagons, first aid and rescue, farm animals, ATVs, lawn mowers, electricity, chemicals, hearing, bicycle safety, and semi-tractor/trailers.
