The Gene Lane Memorial Tractor Drive

The DeKalb County Farm Bureau Foundation is hosting a Tractor Drive on July 25, rain or shine, in honor of farmer and tractor enthusiast, Gene Lane. This memorial fundraiser supports the Ag in the Classroom Program, featuring an organized drive of antique tractors through northern DeKalb County.

The 40-mile ride will start at Maplehurst Farms (Esmond), stop for a BBQ lunch at the Genoa-Kingston High School, and include rest stations along the way.

Registration is required by completing and returning a registration form at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau by July 10. The registration fee is $50 per tractor driver. Additional riders are welcome for $20. Fee includes lunch and refreshments. The remainder will go to the Farm Bureau Foundation for Ag in the Classroom.
